Corporate Volunteerism Grants
Many employers offer volunteer grant programs (also known as "Dollars for Doers" or volunteer matching) in which companies make a monetary donation to a charitable cause in recognition of employees who volunteer their time and talents.
It's a great way to turn your volunteer efforts into direct support—at no cost to you!

How It Works
Check Eligibility
Ask your HR department or Employee Resource Group (ERG) lead if your company has a volunteer grant program. You can find us on Benevity and Goodera. If your company uses another platform or you don’t see us listed, please contact us!
Volunteer Your Time
There are several ways to get involved:
- Write letters of support for trans people—individually or with a group. (ERGs, companies, teams, and organizations often enjoy making cards together!)
- Host a virtual event with Point of Pride at your company, organization, or team. Options include a lunch & learn, workshop, or presentation. Many companies count time spent learning and developing allyship as a qualifying volunteer activity.
- Become a Community Grantmaking Fellow, a deeper, ongoing commitment to help review applications and support Point of Pride’s grantmaking process.
Log Your Hours to Unlock a Donation
Follow your employer’s instructions to track your volunteer time. Once your hours are verified, your company will donate to Point of Pride on your behalf. You’ll receive a confirmation when the donation has been made. Thank you!
Additional details
Some volunteer grant programs may require specific details to process your hours and donation.
