Point of Pride Releases Joint Annual Report for 2022 and 2023

Point of Pride is excited to announce the release of its 2022 and 2023 joint annual report, detailing the organization’s continued growth and impact over the past two years. This report showcases the life-changing support provided to transgender and non-binary individuals worldwide, with a total of $462,000 awarded towards gender-affirming surgeries, hormone therapy, and permanent hair removal services during this period.
Key highlights from 2022 and 2023 include:
- Over 8,750 free chest binders and femme shapewear garments donated to recipients across the globe
- $2,000,000 raised through the 2023 Trans Day of Visibility TikTok-a-Thon, led by Mercury Stardust and Jory (AlluringSkull), to support future recipients
- 1 in 2 people served reported facing discrimination from a healthcare provider or employer
- 1 in 3 recipients live with a disability or chronic illness
“Our work over the past two years represents the resilience and dedication of our community,” said Jeff Main, Executive Director of Point of Pride. “Thanks to the generosity of our supporters and partners, we’ve been able to reach more people and provide the essential care they deserve.”
Point of Pride's mission is help trans youth and adults access necessary, life-saving health and wellness services. To date, Point of Pride has awarded $2,800,500 in financial aid and provided gender-affirming support to 25,750 people in all 50 states and around the world.
