Point of Pride Releases First-Ever Annual Report for 2021

Point of Pride is proud to announce the release of its inaugural annual report, highlighting the organization’s impact and resilience throughout 2021. The report provides a comprehensive overview of the life-changing support and care provided to transgender and non-binary individuals around the world, during a year marked by significant challenges.
Key achievements from 2021 include:
- $99,430 awarded for surgeries, permanent hair removal, and gender-affirming hormone therapy
- 1,877 free chest binders and femme shapewear garments donated globally
- 2,093 trans and non-binary individuals supported across 50 countries
- Expanded support to new countries, including Argentina, Brazil, and Uganda
In response to the surge of anti-trans legislation introduced across the United States, Point of Pride also raised more than $20,000 and distributed over 1,500 gender-affirming garments to trans youth in need, accompanied by messages of support and affirmation.
“Our 2021 report is a testament to the power of community and the meaningful impact we can create together,” said Jeff Main, Executive Director of Point of Pride. “We are incredibly grateful for the support that made these achievements possible.”
Point of Pride's mission is help trans youth and adults access necessary, life-saving health and wellness services. To date, Point of Pride has awarded $2,750,000 in financial aid and provided gender-affirming support to 22,000 people in all 50 states and around the world.
