Point of Pride Awards $37,500 to 2020 Trans Surgery Fund Recipients
May 9, 2020
Point of Pride is excited to announce that $37,500 in financial assistance has been awarded to six recipients through the 2020 Annual Trans Surgery Fund. These funds will fully cover their gender-affirming surgeries, ensuring each recipient can access the care they urgently need.
“This support goes to individuals who simply would not be able to access gender-affirming care without help,” said Aydian Dowling, Board President and co-founder of Point of Pride. “Thanks to our generous donors and supporters, we’re able to change lives by providing essential care that brings people closer to living as their authentic selves.”
Applications for the 2021 cycle will open on November 1, 2020.
Special thanks to our sponsors:
