Point of Pride Welcomes Aydian Dowling as Engagement and Advocacy Lead

Point of Pride is thrilled to announce Aydian Dowling as our new Engagement and Advocacy Lead. Aydian is an activist, entrepreneur, and speaker since 2009. As a co-founder of Point of Pride and its former Board President, Aydian has dedicated the past 7 years to guiding and expanding the organization, at the forefront of its programs and partnerships.

In this new role, Aydian will build upon this foundation through strategic vision setting and communication, donor and partner relationship management, planning and execution of key fundraising events, and support of our growing diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) practice.

“There's never been a more pivotal moment to immerse ourselves in this mission," Aydian shared. "It's a profound privilege for me to fully commit to this endeavor after years of volunteering at the helm.”

From our inception in 2016 through January 2023, Point of Pride had operated solely with the help of volunteers. It has since evolved into one of the most prominent global organizations dedicated solely to serving the transgender and gender diverse community.

This year, as we assist more individuals than ever before, we're grateful to welcome Aydian as our third staff member. He joins our committed volunteers and supporters who remain the backbone of our mission.
